About Palm City Sod

Palm City Sod is a family-owned and operated business founded in 1962 by Ron Kelley. It started in Coral Springs, Florida, and moved to Palm City, Florida, in 1977. When Ron retired in 1999, his son, Doug Kelley, took over the family business. Since then, the business has flourished and has become one of the leading sod companies on the East Coast. We are currently training a third generation of the Kelley family to run the business and provide the same quality service for years to come.

Fresh Sod Each Day

For the best quality sod available, we harvest it fresh every day to ensure that your lawn will be healthy when we lay it down. The sod we carry in-stock each day includes Floratam and Bahia, weather permitting. We can also provide Palmetto, Bitter Blue, Zoysia, Celebration Bermuda, and other types of sod with 2 or 3-days’ notice.
